Tambudzai has 19 years’ work experience in development, in particular arts and culture, media, ICT, governance and democracy, child rights and women’s rights sectors in Southern Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours. Prior to joining Hivos, Tambudzai worked with various civil society organisations in South Africa and Zimbabwe covering the SADC regional. In her early career, Tambudzai played a key role in giving support to civic organisations to set up internal systems, founding festivals and establishing other networking platforms. She has served as a juror at various Film Festivals in the SADC region and sat on the Board of several CSOs. She was a member of the task team assigned with drafting of the African Charter on Broadcasting adopted at the UNESCO Windhoek Plus Ten Conference in 2001. Tambudzai’s area of passion and expertise is in project management, communication and advocacy.
